These fingerstrips are electronic gaskets for general EMI-shielding applications where there is a narrow opening or gap
Stick-on mounting Finger stock gaskets with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). Suited for low profile, bi-directional applications such as the rack mounting of line cards in telecommunications equipment. The gasket offers high EMI shielding performance in applications where space may be limited. Stick-on mounting Fingerstrips are low compression, adhesive mounted beryllium copper shielding strips. The self-adhesive tape makes mounting easy and secure.
As an option, the 2400 series Twisted finger stock gasket can be combined with a environmental rubber gasket. This offers a high degree of protection against dust and moisture.

A double row of contacts in one narrow shielding strip. The Twisted fingerstrips are mounted securely with standard Instant Tac adhesive. The optional poron-rubber Enviroseal protects against moisture, dust and other contaminants. Also available in continuous-length rolls (on request).

For areas where a small dynamic range is required and where the shield in its “compressed state” will not extend beyond its uncompressed dimension “A.” Mounting is simple with standard Instant Tac adhesive. Twisted fingerstrips 2403
For applications where side mounting is required – see “B” dimension. The Twisted fingerstrip 2403 is mounted securely with Instant Tac adhesive on the surface perpendicular to the area where compression contact occurs.
