How to prevent spreading of corona virus
Here you can find solutions to prevent spreading of corona viruses. Possibly you have contacts in the medical or governmental branch. Think on push buttons in trains, elevators, doors, lightswitches and so on. Please pass this information on to them and help with prevention.
Alternative: start a business in these easy to apply parts.
Source of contamination
A large source of contamination are many touched surfaces such as door handles, push plates on doors, door knobs, taps and bed edges.
Research shows that a “dirty hand” contaminates at least seven objects. The hand does not have to be dirty to the eye, just holding your hand over your mouth when coughing is enough. Did you know that 35% of people are walking around with poop bacteria on their hand? We have armed ourselves against this, built up resistance to it. We have not built up any resistance to the current corona virus and that is why it is dangerous.
Antimicrobial copper has a killing effect for both bacteria and viruses (see historical and scientific treatment below). That is why we have developed a range of products from anti-bacterial copper to limit the risk of contamination. Did you know that bacteria on stainless steel and plastic can survive for days to weeks? On copper they will be dead in up to 4 hours
Application
Limiting the spread of MRSA, corona virus, SARS and other bacteria and viral infections, as well as most fungi.
Users
Association of owners for private individuals, lifts and doorknobs, hospitals, public transport, care homes etc.
How it works
The antimicrobial copper attacks the bacteria on several points. The speed with which it kills bacteria, viruses and fungi ensures that they have no time to develop resistance.
Exactly how the antimicrobial copper kills the microorganisms is not clear. For now, it is thought that copper ions are released (for example via a lift button or a door handle). These copper ions destroy the cell membrane, causing leakage of essential fluids. Copper ions entering the cell disrupt essential processes and enzymes. Eventually, the DNA gets damaged and the cell dies.
